Getting Started with iKendo

Building an enterprise-grade conversation agent used to require weeks of engineering, complex dialog trees, and constant fine-tuning. With iKendo, the process takes minutes.

The Philosophy

In kendo, the first lesson is not how to strike — it is how to stand. The foundation determines everything that follows. Similarly, iKendo begins not with configuration files or flowcharts, but with a simple conversation about your business.

Step 1: Describe Your Business

When you first log into iKendo, you'll be greeted by our onboarding assistant. Simply describe what your business does and what kind of conversations you need to automate.

For example:

"We're a mid-size insurance company in Japan. We need an agent that can handle claims intake, policy inquiries, and renewal reminders in Japanese and English."

That's it. No forms. No technical specifications. Just tell us what you need.

Step 2: Review and Refine

iKendo will generate a draft agent configuration based on your description. This includes:

  • Conversation flows for each use case
  • Business rules extracted from your description
  • Voice profile suggestions for your target languages
  • Compliance checks relevant to your industry

Review these and adjust as needed — all through natural language dialogue.

Step 3: Simulate

Before your agent goes live, run it through our simulation engine. Test it against realistic scenarios:

  • Standard inquiries
  • Edge cases and unusual requests
  • Multi-language switches
  • Adversarial or confused inputs

The simulation provides detailed scoring and highlights areas for improvement.

Step 4: Deploy

When you're satisfied with the simulation results, deploy with a single click. iKendo supports:

  • Phone (inbound and outbound)
  • Web chat
  • Email
  • Custom channels via API

What Happens Next

Once live, iKendo continuously monitors your agent's performance. The Analyze dashboard surfaces insights automatically — which conversations succeeded, which struggled, and what improvements would have the highest impact.

This is the flywheel. Each cycle — Train, Test, Deploy, Analyze — sharpens your agent further. The discipline compounds.
